Exercise, Rest, and Sleep
What students learn
Students learn that exercise, rest, and sleep all help the body. Begin with to see the body get active, then use to practice the movement words.
Why it matters
Movement builds strength, and sleep helps the body grow and feel ready for the next day. gives students a calm reminder that bedtime is part of staying healthy.
Learn the idea
The body needs time to move and time to rest. Exercise helps muscles work, and sleep gives the body time to recover. The two exercise moments and the bedtime moment work together to show that healthy living includes both action and rest.
Try it
Have the child do a few safe movement actions, then name one bedtime habit that helps them rest.
Parent guide
Keep movement safe and playful. Let the child stretch, march, and jump in place, then connect the activity to bedtime so they can see that rest is part of a healthy routine.
