Parent guide
Work through the lessons in order and keep the talk purposeful. First help the student name a claim, then practice responding respectfully to another point of view, and finally have them present a short speech. If the student gets stuck, return to the lesson that matches the part they need to strengthen.
Completion
A student finishes this course when they can make a claim, support it with reasons and evidence, answer a counterargument respectfully, and deliver a short persuasive speech.
