What students learn

Why it matters

Learn the idea

Try it

Give the student three categories with three choices each and ask them to draw the grid before any clue is read. Then have them label the rows and columns out loud.

If the table looks messy, slow down and rebuild it with the student. The goal is a clear working space, not speed.
