Course overview

This course helps Grade 5 students plan an organized essay, revise their writing with better supporting details, and deliver a clear presentation. Students practice turning one main idea into a focused draft and then sharing that idea out loud with confidence.

Parent guide

Work through the lessons in order and keep each session short. First help the student organize the essay, then ask them to revise one paragraph, and finally have them speak the idea aloud. If they get stuck, return to the lesson that matches the problem and practice that step again.

A student finishes this course when they can plan a short essay, revise it with supporting details, and present the idea clearly to an audience.
