Course overview

This course helps Grade 4 students turn written ideas into short scenes that can be performed aloud. Students learn how dialogue, stage directions, character voice, and oral reading work together in a script.

What students will learn

Parent guide

Work through the lessons in order and let the student hear the script out loud often. Keep feedback simple: ask whether the dialogue sounds natural, whether the stage directions help, and whether the voices are easy to tell apart.

Completion

A student finishes this course when they can write a short scene, add useful stage directions, and perform the script aloud with clear character voices.
