Lessons

Parent guide

Use the day’s weather, a window view, and a simple weather journal to keep the ideas visible and concrete. Ask your child to say what they observed before they try to explain it, and to use the words cloud, season, temperature, and predict as often as they can.

Completion

A student finishes when they can describe the sky, name the seasons, compare temperature changes, and make a simple weather prediction using clues.
