  • Use plant science words in speaking and writing.
  • Connect plant needs to real plants they see around them.

Lessons

Parent guide

Pace this course over three short sessions or one week of science time. Let students point to real plants, draw plant parts, and explain each answer in their own words. If a child struggles, return to the first lesson and reuse the songs and video moments before moving forward.

Completion

A student finishes this course when they can name what a plant needs, explain the job of each main plant part, and describe how a seed grows into a plant.
